ABOUT US

Our project was focusing on Visitor Behavior and Activity Mapping. In our understanding, Visitor Behavior and Activity Mapping is a systematic approach to understanding how individuals interact with their environment particularly in recreational areas. This study focuses on the UTM Recreational Forest II, a natural space within the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) campus. This recreational forest is a popular destination for both local and international visitors, offering various activities such as jungle trekking, camping, explorace and night walk. However, to ensure the forest remains a sustainable and enjoyable destination, it is crucial to understand visitor behavior and preferences. By analyzing how visitors use the forest, we can identify which activities are most popular, how the facilities are utilized and what improvements are needed to enhance the visitor experience.
